Old Broad Street

Situated in a pedestrian-only courtyard between Threadneedle Street and Old Broad Street, Rocket in Adams Court has two very different bars and an exciting restaurant serving huge pizzas and a great selection of fresh salads. In addition to our seasonal menus which can be seen by clicking on the tab above, we have regularly changing specials available in the bar and restaurant.

We open from 9.00 am serving coffee and tea inside our ground floor bar and on our outside terrace. Lunch starts from noon both downstairs and in our top floor restaurant. In the evening we serve food in our lounge bar in addition to our top floor restaurant and ground floor bar.

Our wine list is possibly the best value in the whole of London. We have over 60 well regarded wines to choose from starting at £16.25. All are below £50.00 and the majority below £30.00. If you are looking for Champagnes we have more than 10 to choose from ranging from £38.00 for Baron de Marck NV and £41.50 for Mumm Cordon Rouge NV to £135.00 for a bottle of Krug or Taittinger Comtes de Champagne (1999). Wine connoisseur or not, we are sure you will find something that suits your palate and price whatever style of wine you are looking for and at prices that will definitely surprise you.

Private Hire Areas

Our first floor cocktail bar, suitable for parties of 10-70 people, is available for private hire. We have a partially-private room in the restaurant which seats 25 comfortably or can seat 70 in our main restaurant.

We are closed on Saturdays and Sundays but either of our bars or the upstairs restaurant is available for private hire by arrangement.

PAPA Pizza Restaurant of the Year Awards

Rocket shortlisted for a PAPA Pizza Restaurant of the Year Award

Rocket was one of ten UK-wide restaurants to be short listed for a Pizza Restaurant of the Year 2010 Award by PAPA, the Pizza, Pasta and Italian Food Association.

PAPA was formed in 1977 and its annual awards are to reward and celebrate success and innovation in the UK’s pizza, pasta and Italian food business.

Beefeater 24 B24:LDNXPOSED 2010 Winner

Suzana Amorin from Rocket in Canary Wharf won the People's Champion Award in Beefeater cocktail and photo competition

Thank you to everyone who voted in Beefeater 24's B24:LDNXPOSED cocktail and photo competition. We are thrilled that the 24/7 cocktail by Suzana Amorim from our bar team recieved the most votes and won the People's Champion 2010 Award and the photograph of Rocket in Canary Wharf by Sarah Brimley came 5th.

For the competition to 'xpose' London's talent, Beefeater 24 chose 24 new bars in London and then asked 24 bartenders to design a cocktail and 24 up-and-coming photographers to take a photograph expressing Daring, London, Glamour. Rocket in Churchill Place was selected as one of the 24 new bars to be showcased. Suzana Amorim from Rocket's bar designed a new cocktail and Sarah Brimley took a photograph. The first 4,000 people who voted for the cocktail and photograph they liked most received vouchers for two free cocktails. We were thrilled that the Drinking Out Excellence Awards 2009 nominated and short listed us as one of the top three Champagne Bars in the UK and would like to thank the wine and spirit writers and critics that nominated and short listed us.

We would also like to say a big thank you to Gold Key Media, our neighbours in Mayfair, who very kindly supply the lovely glossy magazines in our black bar.

What's New at Rocket Adams Court

Our Late Lunch Offer: We are offering of a free glass of wine (a choice of a white, Vermentino, Les Archères or Sauvignon Blanc, La Paz, MontGras or a red, Tempranillo, Camp Nuevo or Merlot, de Gras ) to customers wishing to have a later lunch (between 2.15pm and 5.00pm).

241 Cocktails: In our bar we have a 241 cocktail offer on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights.

Events that need a screen: If you are organising an event that needs a projector or TV and large screen, we have an 80" screen in our first floor Black Bar which can be scrolled down. Our Black Bar is available for private hire.

Wi-Fi - We now have Wi-Fi in our restaurant and bars.

To book online choose the date and time you would like and your reservation will be entered directly onto our system. You will receive an email confirmation by return. If you are unable to find a table at the time that suits you because all the tables that are bookable online are already reserved, please either choose an alternative time or phone us directly on 020 7628 0808 and we will do our best to accommodate you. Please note that we are only able to take online reservations for our restaurant. Our outside bar tables are not reservable in advance. These are walk-in only.
